My passion for photography began with my daughter's Melissa and Monica playing youth sports. As an ultra competitive father, I found shooting sports through a camera refocused my on field competitiveness to focusing on capturing great action images.

My youth sports photography led me to high school sports photography, upgrading to better photography equipment and wanting to learn portraiture.

The learning never stopped. I am slightly obsessed with books, photography magazines, workshops, camera club, lighting, posing, and all things photography. By nature I strive to be the best photographer I can be.

My photography has expanded from sports to portraiture, weddings, family reunions, high school seniors, children, maternity, pets and business portraits.

Today, I love to shoot youth and high school sports.....having fun with a bride and groom on their wedding day....teasing a child to giggle for a portrait.....creating a beautiful family keepsake... capturing the look a business person wants to convey to customers and associates...enticing a high school senior to giving me that 'kick ass' pose and expression for their senior portraits....
